It's 3am, Where Are You?
I was online last night when I should have been asleep and across the Twitterverse comes a message from John Mayer announcing a Ustream chat. Since I wasn't asleep and wasn't busy with anything else in particular, I decided to check it out. So did 1500 other people.
One could safely assume that many of Mayer's fans reside in the United States and probably most of his Tweeps do. So, that means after midnight, there were that many people trolling around the 'net looking for something to do. On the West Coast, people were not watching Late Night talk shows but were instead on Twitter, just tweeting around.
The Internet seems to be the new place for people to find entertainment. Live shows whether spontaneous like Mayer's or scheduled like this Thursday's upcoming Impulse Magazine show on TODHD are soon to be taking over where tv has left off.
The Impulse Magazine show will be interactive and feature live chats with some interesting people including Lydia Cornell from "Too Close for Comfort", karaoke maven SweetNote, TODHD Admistrator Gary Arbaugh and even a chat about Hybrid Magic, a product utilizing hydrogen fuel technology. Sounds like something for everyone at TODHD.
It seems that people aren't tuning in as much anymore as recent articles have shown.
I'm tuning in online, are you?

Is Anything on TV?
I read an article today about the fall of television and then, I read another one. Huffington Post will tell us that the big 4 (ABC, NBC, Fox, CBS) aren't pulling their numbers. Courier Press said that the late night talk shows aren't getting viewers. Yeah, really? I mean, in-fighting amongst the hosts isn't cool. Is anyone into Leno after he hurt their precious Coco?
Personally, I feel like watching "Frasier" much of the time. You can watch it anytime at Kelsey Live, Kelsey Grammer's website which is part of this other site, TODHD. It's pretty cool.
He's even starting his own show in the Fall called The TOD'nite Show.
When I miss a show, I usually just catch it online or watch most things on DVR. Anyway, I'm not surprised to hear that less people are watching tv. I'm probably not...
